AFTER YOUR BED-BUG TREATMENT
Your report
comes first.
Returning home, cleaning and follow-up depend on the method used and the written instructions for your appointment.
Leave the specified treatment in place.
Where a residual product was used, it needs to remain on the named surfaces for the agreed period. Ask which areas can be cleaned and when; this is not a blanket ban on cleaning the whole home.
Do not add sprays, powders, steam or another product without discussing it with the team. If an area was cleaned accidentally, report what happened rather than reapplying anything yourself.

USEFUL OBSERVATIONS, NOT GUESSWORK
Keep a short record.
| Record | Useful detail |
|---|---|
| Sightings | Date, room, exact location and whether an insect moved. |
| Changes | Cleaning, moved furniture, sleeping arrangements or products used. |
| Instructions | Protected areas, re-entry conditions and reporting contact. |
One sighting is not proof of failure, and a quiet night is not proof that every stage is gone. Follow the monitoring and follow-up plan; report increasing activity or signs in a new room.
Questions after the visit.
When can I vacuum, mop or change bedding?
Ask separately about treated edges, floors, furniture and washable bedding. Your report should state the relevant date or condition.
Can pets return when people do?
Only if the actual instructions say so. Different animals and equipment, including aquaria, may need different arrangements.
I still have skin symptoms. Has treatment failed?
Symptoms alone cannot measure treatment success. Seek healthcare advice for persistent or worsening symptoms and tell the pest team about actual room evidence.
Who should clarify the report?
Use the contact details supplied with the appointment. Have the visit date and report available so the answer relates to the treatment actually received.
YOUR NEXT STEP
Tell us what you have noticed.
Share the signs and your property address. We will discuss the work, price and availability before you book.
